large traditional bespoke skirting board moulding from a victorian vicarage

For orders over 30m in length we can offer a discounted price. Please email enquiries@arthurwoodjoinery.co.uk with the design you require, how many metres and a delivery address. We will then get back to you with a price.

We specialise in large pattern two part skirting boards that are built up to give the appearance of one larger piece of timber, as is traditional in older, high status houses.

These skirting boards are made up of a top mould and a bottom board. The top part being fixed to the wall first and then the bottom board fixed to the top mould and a spacing timber as shown in the diagram.

All of the patterns that we have are authentic period features, taken from old houses that we have worked on over the years.

Prices given below are for Scandinavian Redwood. Please contact us direct for prices and availability for various hardwoods including but not limited to oak, ash, iroko and sapele. Prime paint finish is also available.

If you have a specific piece of skirting you wish to match from your own home, we also offer this service. Details and prices are available on application.
